My wife is doing the race this weekend in Denton. The bike course should be familiar to anyone that has done the Horse Country TT or the Saturday morning group rides. It's a simple out and back on 428. This would be a great first tri for anyone in the area. I raced this past weekend so I will be the designated photographer and babysitter. Let me know if anyone will be out for the race. I'll get some pictures.

Luke,

I did get a picture of you coming into T2 on the bike. I'll send it to you when we get it downloaded. How did it go for you? Was this your first tri?

My wife had fun. She took third place in her age group. Johnny Richey took first in his AG and 4th overall.

If childcare was a competition, it would be my wife 100+ me 0. I was lucky to get even one picture taken b/c the kids were a handful. Racing is much easier than watching two kids under 3!

Thanks Jamie, appreciate that, you can send to my email: laslavens@yahoo.com

Yep, this was my first tri. I finished 42nd of 289 overall competitors. I took 4th in my age group.

Of course I had been biking, had only ran twice this whole year and that was over this past two weeks when I decided to register and had not been in a pool in about 2 years.

My swim sucked, I thought I was gonna drown to be honest! Laughing
