Hill trainin'... so tough but soooo good.
I'll be doing some hill training tomorrow morning and I would be delighted if anyone wants to join. However, I'm riding very early... I'll start between 6:00 and 6:05am from my place and do some warmup laps around my neighborhood to wait for sunlight. Then I'll head down to the bottom of cowpattie hill and do 6 "big steamer" small loops. It'll be a full out climb with the rest of the loop as a recovery. Last week it turned out to be around 75-80 seconds of climbing and close to a 4 minute recovery. It's really nice out there at this time in the morning, there are almost no cars on the road and the sunrise is delightful. If anyone wishes to join, I estimate my arrival to the bottom of cowpattie hill to start the first climb at around 6:45am.

The 60,000 feet of climbing I've done in the past 60 days has left me tired and a tad bit past an "overreaching" state (and more like I'm overtrained). Needless to say, I'm not going to be doing much climbing (or perhaps much riding) this month. :-(
