GPS Units - Which do you prefer? Now that I have the new bike and it is raining, it is time to buy a GPS.
If you have one or have researched these please tell me what you think.
Thanks!

I have the Forerunner 305 and like it very much. It does not have the barometric altimeter that the edge 305 has, but still works very good. Advantages to me are, it can do both cadance or foot pod if your in to any crosstraining. I have not had any problems with battery life that some of the 305 edge owners have had. As for the others I really couldn't say.

Ted, i have a Garmin Forerunner 301 which has been very reliable and gives u all the basic functions including heart rate. The only issue i have had is it loses the connection when in the woods while MTB.
i am going to sell it soon when rick sells me his Polar cycle computer. i have other polar products so i want to keep consistent with chest straps and stuff like that.
anyway i have been generally happy with it.
