Big Steamer May 15th - CW Adds Big Steamer To His Resume
CORINTH - No time for a full recap this evening so I will provide an abbreviated version. There were over 20 cyclists out for the ride tonight and it proved to be another barn burner. CW attacked three different times to try and shake things up with the 3rd attack coming up Cowpattie Hill which stretched the bunch out quite a bit. The Cannibal and Mexican Professor traded turns on front. It was a group sprint at the finish with CW taking a close win over Hollywood with Big Red in third. I'm going to try this out. I can only do this ride on tuesday evenings though due to family priorities on thursday evenings. I used to live in Lake Dallas but the "course" looks a bit confusing. I'm sure I will get dropped a few times at first, so I will need/try to sit in and figure out where I'm going <laughs>. That and I'm really not all that fast (just a lifer Cat Fiver)! I've done this course twice now and it is starting to look familiar to me. Of course, as I pass a turn, I think, "that looks kinda familiar..." Noah and I are fortunate to have found such a great group of folks to ride with.
