Big Steamer August 19th - Neutralized
It was decided the Tuesday night Big Steamer ride would be neutralized because not everyone in the lead pack stopped at the 4-way stop sign on Corinth Parkway. The Corinth Police Department has targeted motorists for running this stop sign so we need to be diligent as a group and slow down at this intersection. I'm not sure I understand this one. I was in the lead , I'm not sure by how far when I came to the stop sign. I slowed down to make sure no cars were coming and when I saw that no cars were coming I went through. I was really pushing to keep my break away, which I started before the turn on to Corinth Parkway. If I somehow got an unfair advantage at the stop sign it was not my intent. Hell, you may not even be talking about me. Is the expectation that everyone is now supposed to stop at the 4 way stop on Corinth Parkway? I know that is not what we have done in the past. If I'm the one that has to eat this Big Steamer Sandwich, no problem if it's going to make all of our future rides safer. It was still a fun ride!

I think it was more from the break that was chasing. Half the guys slowed down and the others just went through. Everyone needs to make sure you SLOW down at the four way stop sign on Corinth Parkway. You don't have to put a foot down if the intersection is clear, but our speed needs to noticeably drop at the stop.
